Steven D. Guy is an accomplished Senior Executive with an impressive 20-year career that includes advancement to increasingly demanding leadership roles based on major success of startup and high growth of energy companies focusing on energy structured products for municipalities, electric Cooperatives and commercial & industrial customers throughout North America. With a solid history of overseeing all divisions of retail and wholesale energy businesses, he is as much at home training teams to become experts as he is at personally negotiating the sale of supply structures.
Most recently with The Energy Company, Steven has made key contributions, serving as a Managing Partner for this highly profitable start-up business, delivering power and natural gas services to municipalities, electric cooperatives, retail electric providers, and C&I customers. Over 5 years, he grew the business steadily from $0 to $2.5M in gross margin.
Previously, Steven served as Vice President of Ampex Energy, LLC – a BGC Partners Company. This role challenged him to set up a newly formed retail company with a primary focus on large C&I businesses in New York state. Accordingly, he developed the framework that enabled the company to grow quickly.
In 2011, as President & CEO of Perigee Energy, LLC, he founded and built this retail energy company to serve residential and small C&I electric and natural gas customers in all deregulated states. The business grew rapidly to include seven states with 18 utility service territories and ultimately led to the completion of a stock sale in December 2014.
Prior to this, Steven founded DaCott Energy Services. As their Owner/Managing Partner for 9 years, he led the company—negotiating structured, long-term deals to municipalities, electric cooperatives, and C&I customers throughout North America. Consequently, he grew and sold DaCott Power and Transmission Solutions in 2008 and DaCott Energy Management in 2011.
Early in his career, Steven gained valuable experience serving in power/gas trading and marketing management roles for Entergy Power Marketing Corp., NorAm/Reliant Resources, NESI Power Marketing, Lomak Petroleum Corporation, and Delhi Gas Pipeline. This led to a VP of Sales, Origination & Marketing appointment for CMS Marketing, Services and Trading (subsidiary of CMS Energy, MI).
Steven launched his career upon obtaining his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Oklahoma. He then went on to earn his Master of Science degree in Management also from the Southern Nazarene University.
Edward G. Berkhof has been involved in satellite, cable and telecommunications since 1976.
*Experiences: o During the eighties Mr. Berkhof was engaged in the sales and installation of twenty-one satellite uplinks in nine different countries.
*He was also a pioneer in the development and the distribution of the C-band satellite for mass consumer use.
*In the nineties he became more involved in the ownership of private cable companies. He developed a credit card pay-per-view system using the telephone for hotel guests as well as cable consumers.
*At this point he began a second career raising money for telecom and cable-tv ventures. o In 1996 with the deregulation of telecommunications act, Mr. Berkhof advised many property owners and developers to retain the telecommunications rights and start their own cable-tv and telecom companies. Mr. Berkhof usually earned an equity position as well as guided the capitalization to build these systems.
*During 1999 he developed an Internet based delivery of a new kind of teleguide for the small franchise/private cable industry. This was eventually sold to one of the national top programming resellers.
*In late 1999, Mr. Berkhof developed the “Teleguide” System to coincide with the early stages of content being delivered over the Internet now known as IPTV (Internet Protocol Television). Teleguide was the basis of the software employed to deliver content in real-time to LED billboards alongside highways. During 2000 Mr. Berkhof employed this system on three of these billboards, which worked flawlessly for over two-years.This venture was sold to one of the largest billboard operations.
*For the past few years, Mr. Berkhof has been an executive consultant for companies requiring assistance in raising capital, formulating corporate structure and planning evolution strategies.

*During his time with Western, Mr. Robie was a member of the investment strategy, product development and management committees. His worldwide clients included Dow Chemical, State of Virginia, Delta Airlines, McGraw Hill, Bell Atlantic, AT&T, Kimberly Clark and Raytheon.
*Mr. Robie was previously a managing partner of Wilshire Associates, one of the world’s largest international consulting and asset management firms. He was responsible for helping clients in the development and marketing of their investment funds to international clients and also played a role in researching new investment strategies and assembling quantitative tools to manage pension plans and improve risk adjusted returns. His clients have included Blue Cross Blue Shield, American Red Cross, Brookings Institute, National Geographic, Smithsonian Institute, Airlines Pilot Association and United Presbyterian Church.
